The Lambretta G350 Special (production trim) features the previously mentioned steel monocoque frame and adjustable side panels. It’s a classic design that draws heavily on Lambretta designs from the past while also including current components. In the 2022 G350, a TFT display, LED illumination, disc brakes, and ABS will be standard. Powering the G350 Special is a single-cylinder 350cc engine rated at 25.8 horsepower.
Lambretta’s decision to showcase its new scooters during Milan Design Week 2022, aligning with its “Heritage to the Future” display with the Lambretta Museum, is no coincidence. While the G350 Special’s design reigns supreme in the neo-retro scooter design category, the new Lambretta X300 is something altogether different. With a more modern, streamlined, angular appearance, the design appeals to younger riders in particular.
The X300’s design features a steel integrated floorboard, leg shield, and side unit. LED headlights and ABS are standard, as they are on the G350 Special. The X300 also receives an electronic key fob. Lambretta described the launch as a “global event” at its official announcement. The business intends to distribute these scooters to dealers later in 2022, though exact details about the scooters are not out yet. We doubt Lambretta would return to India with these pricey scooters because the segment is still in its early stage.
