Hi fellow Figo owners! My car's hatch door's hyraulic hinges seems to be not working, the door remains in the position where it's left, it doesn't move upwards on its own. Just wanted to know if anyone else is also facing this issue. Btw, the service centre told that the hydraulic hinges can be replaced under warranty.

Ford has got a Zero% interest offer till april 30th 2018 ( 0% interest for 3yrs) through ford finance . Maximum of 4lacs. So is this be given for figo sport edition also ?

Guys , i have been offered free extended warrenty, insurence amount match from outside (not free). But no cash discounts for figo diseal sport from kerala. They are saying , cant give any cash discounts since its a zero% interest offer ( 3 lacs loan for 3yrs , no interest) . Is this a good deal ? PS: he dint mention how many years extended warranty .
Pls help me get a good deal.

I would suggest you to check at another dealership also. Ford India is now offering quite a few offers on the Figo. Free Extended warranty, 30k cash discount and 20-25k exchange bonus is what is being offered by Ford. Ford Credit is giving 3 month EMI holiday. Dealer discounts maybe additional.
Though the 0% interest loan maybe a reason not to give these offers, no harm asking around for better offers.
I would suggest you to ask at another dealership and get a quotation. Now that the Freestyle has launched, and the new Figo facelift will be launching this year, you can expect many more offers on the Figo. Also, if you know any employees of Ford India, you can ask them to avail the friends and family discount which is in the range of 11k for the Figo Sport.

Sales executive just visited and left.
New offer : 3yrs ext. Warrenty ( 7832/yr) total 23496/- free
Plus Accessories kit worth 3400/- free
Insurence : either opt their 27000/ or can buy from outside . My choice
Is this a good deal? Should i push further?

What is friends and family discount? Nothing shown in fords website other than zero% interest.

Yes, I would suggest asking for a further cash discount. For insurance, you can check quotes at PolicyBazaar or coverfox, or if you know any agent. Insurance prices vary a lot and you may get quite different quotes. There have been many instances, when people have got almost 40% cheaper offers on insurance, when they check other companies for updating, as compared to updating from the same provider. If you have any other car that you are selling, transferring the NCB to the new car would also help.

Do confirm if the warranty is for 3rd , 4th and 5th year.
0% interest scheme is good. Will save you easily 40k of interest. Tell him to give the insurance free or another 25k discounts. Check with another dealer also and tell him the offers you are getting from the first.

@allhundayicars : He said 3yrs ext.warrenty. i hope what he meant is first 3 yrs.
PS : yes you are rite. I called him now, he is saying it was his mistake. Only 3rd year warranty can be made free.( 7832/-)

Friends and family discount is for Ford Employees (those working for Ford India). They can get an extra discount for friends and family they refer for buying a Ford car. Would be helpful if you know anyone who works for the firm.

Ask him for 50k cash discounts from the quotation without the insurance amount.
Else check other Ford dealer. 50k should be easy.
Don't buy extended warranty now. Get it afterwards. Pay 14k for 3rd and 4th year warranty before the standard warranty expires.

After waiting for long 3 yrs and following this thread, I have booked figo (D) sport edition today . I Thank rs500 and alhyundai for helping me choose between regular figo and sports. I Couldn't get much offers or discounts. Only 2 showrooms in my 200kms area. Both from same company. One branch sales executive didn't even bother to call back They dont hv the vehicle with them at present. Has to get alloted from plant. Will take around 20days to 30days time to get delivered.
Ex-Showroom - 7.73 lacs
Rto - 63430
Offer - 17500 cash discount + 3rd yr ex.wnty + accessories kit worth 3400/-
The sales executive said he will try to get seat cover or underbody teflon coating as free.
Once the vehicle get alloted, they will provide VIN number. Guys if its jan 2018 build , is that ok ?
