Nice pics mate. Seat covers fit and finish seems to be really good. Really liked the pic from that sea side view restaurant. Which camera do you use by the way?

And wanted to ask you, How is the performance of the stock speakers? Or are there any upgrades planned?

Thank you GM88, Yeah seat covers are of perfect fit. I used my iPhone 4 to take the pic. I'm ok with the stock speakers, they do a decent job. :)

Guys please check the following snapshot from my iPhone. When I connect my iPhone to the vw radio system, I am asked to download this app but nothing happens after I open the app store. Anyone has any idea about it?

Got a dent and deep scratch near diesel tank and right rear door. The car was was parked near my house at some distance, No idea how it happened. :?

Was away on a vacation from last 2 weeks so couldn't update. I'm thinking of opting insurance, the VW showroom guys quoted around 30k to repair it and 2k if i opt full insurance.

Sorry to hear about the dent on your Polo eXperience. Today even somebody hit my Dad's Fiesta in the rear when it was parked outside our house. There are always these sorts of maniacs on roads everywhere of whom you really can't do much about. Its not for the first time it has happened to his car, earlier also twice it was hit while parked in proper parking spaces.

So how bad is the dent? Is it just a bend or the paint has also come off?

Hey guys,
Sorry for the late update, and yes that dent looks very bad.

Will be giving the car for repair on 26th. SA said it will take around 15 days to fix it.

Oh that looks bad bro. Really sorry to see that. Regarding the repair, ask them what will they be doing with the car for 15days. In my view, you should enquire a little more and don't give your car for more than 5days or a week at the max. The whole denting and painting should take not more than 3-4days. So are they replacing the rear door or they just removing the dent? And you planning to get it covered through insurance?

Yes, I'll be opting for insurance. They will remove the whole door and also some of the tank part according to what they said. As there is only VW showroom here. usually 10-15 cars are piled up, that maybe the reason.

I also suggest not to put your car in service station for 10-15 days. If they have cars piled up, ask them to give appointment & drop your car only when your slot comes. Which insurance do you have? I think with 0% dep policy, they should be charging only the claim charge of 1k.

Damn. That looks bad mate. I am really sorry to see that.

VW people will keep cars in there for a long time. I don't know why but that's how they are, even here in Trivandrum. It took them one month to replace the front bumper and left side headlight of a friend's Jetta here.
30k is a little steep but then if you opt for insurance, I think they will replace the door rather than denting and re-painting it. If it is only for denting and re-painting, 30k is too steep. Clarify that with the dealers. If the do not agree on replacing, get a quote from a local friendly neighbourhood garage who is known to do a good job.

I had a big dent on my rear door. VW quoted around Rs. 15k (if I remember right) and I got it done outside for Rs. 3500. [:D] And when you look at the door now, you wouldn't know that it has been worked on.

Yeah I too feel 15 days is a bit too much.

Thanks jobs, I'll ask them if that will workout.

Also any fuss from VW or warranty part if I get it done outside? Sorry for this noobish query :P
