Ford Ecosport prices slashed by upto 1.12 lakh, Breeza effect.
But still, ford won't suffer from financial loss because it was already overpriced., prices were increased twice because of good sales figures, still people ran behind ES despite options like Fiat Avventura was available there.
Even Duster is overpriced but still sells and no price cuts by renault. So ford did a good job in that sense.
Renault is playing the wait and watch game with its Duster. Expecting some sales with new facelift. They are also busy with Kwid production which has a huge waiting list.
But if they rely only on Kwid sales and ignore Duster they will be in for big trouble in the long term.
Ford has been smart enough with its price cut to confuse potential Vitara Brezza buyers who may be put off by the unreasonable waiting periods for Brezza.
