Though already booked baleno,I inquired about hyundai xcent.dealer is offering 35k cash discount right away. I think it is gonna only increase with last month of year coming.

anyone know deals for rapid ? friend is confused between verna , ciaz and honda city.
i told him to take his parents to check out the rapid.
they loved the car but someone told his father bot to buy the car just because it's a skoda.

i think it's a very good car. the dealer is giving 1,30,000 rs discounts on every model. what do you guys think ?
he's thinking of rapid ambition with alloys.

Yes it is best of the lot. Reason : personal ownership experience of 1.5 years.

Have you decoded the VIN. I am sure you would have. Skoda dealers are known to sell 6-7 months old cars. If it is a latest model, deal is mouth watering.

told him not to buy the honda city because the city s and verna s costs the same (after discounts ) and the latter has more features. he told me he might get 60k discounts on the verna. so choice is between rapid and the verna. will update.

I personally believe in waiting and watching. I have personally observed that come 1st of January and the dealers actually become restless. Hence I personally take risks and wait till January and even February at times to get the best possible deal. No wonder I got 1.5 lac + 30k cash discount + free insurance with zero dep + free extended warranty and some accessories on my Laura in mid February for a car that was a September built and was in the dealers' yard awaiting to be delivered.

Bro, I have a diesel one. October 2015 make is a good buy. Mine is 2014 model so mine bill will not help much. You can push the dealer more here. Rapid has launched a new model recently. I think your friend is getting the previous model. However still the deal is good. Negotiate more and a thorough PDI. If you guys are satisfied with the PDI, I find no reason here to reject the deal.

Completed PDI and the car didn't have any scratches and the make is november 2015.

The only grouse is that the accessories are adding a bit too much.

The car in question is a tata zest.

Apart from the seat covers which other accessories need to be done in showroom ? Which are mandatory ?

I am looking for reverse camera as well.

The dealer is charging even for mud flaps and foot mats.

i was talking about service bill. sorry for the confusion.
i don't know about the latest model. what are thw differences ?

@ vipul - it's already 29th so maybe they will end up buying in january only.

@allhyundaicars : My first service bill was 7k something. Do not worry about maintenance cost. It is almost same as Honda city. Got serviced at the service station which you are well aware of i.e Fahrenheit, Moti Nagar. Latest model is now coming with additional features. The top end comes with ORVM mounted indicators, electrically foldable ORVMS, rain sensing wipers & auto dimming IRVMS as new additional features. Which model is your friend interested in?

@kishore108 : Bro, I am not a fan of accessories. One should add accessories from showroom which require tempering with electrical or electronic parts. This will ensure that your warranty is not void. Reverse parking sensors and camera both require electrical installation. It would be better if you get it done from showroom and do remember to take invoice of the same. I will suggest you to go for reverse camera for sure as it will come very handy in Zest.

Seat Covers : You will get much better and cheaper options outside. No need to buy them from showroom if you feel that they are charging you more. Same is case with mud flaps and foot mats. Search online and you will get an idea of charges of these accessories.

Bro you should be getting a much better deal at this time of year. Zest is not a market leader and its end of year. Search more and contact other dealers. I am sure you will get much better deal than the current one. By the way what is the deal you are getting right now?

Actually, waiting till Jan & Feb has got a risk of car(variant or the colour) getting out of stock as Rapid is a good car. Last december , Linea top end variant was on offer with 1.4 L discount, and on first Jan, top end Linea got out of stock throughout Maharashtra and the concerned buyer had to settle with a mid variant with discounts as discounts scheme on top end variant was revoked. Also the mid variant was not available with colour of the choice.

hi guys. finally ended up booking the Verna 4s S diesel variant. ( got 90,000 rs discount on the list price )

went to first hyundai dealer and he didn't have any stock of verna diesel. tried 2 more dealers , same story. then we went to the second dealer gave us just 20k discounts on price with optional covers ( 115300 rs before discount ) and with 10 days waiting.
went to the third dealer and he gave us a final net quote of 10,75,000 rs ie 80,000rs discounts after bargaining hard.

his dad already spoke to a DSA ( some relative ) in the end the DSA agreed with 10,65,000 rs with both the things [:D]
