Masking Tape - Information Required

Hi friends,

I found in some posts [and also in discovery turbo] where ever painting is done, they use masking tape.

I would like to know how this works? wont it spill in the joins?. Generally when we use ordinary tape, the paint will get inside the tape.

Do we get it in Chennai?

The major advantage of using masking tape is that it peels off without leaving a residue on the surface. You can get it from any hardware store around.
