Maruti Suzuki Hiring Automobile Engineers from Detroit.

Maruti got their first set of 8 engineers from Detroit which was doing rounds in media a few weeks back.
This makes me think is suzuki thinking to to global with maruti or is this an initiative by MSL to improve their products range for indian consumers.

I think this has more to do with engineering of larger cars, at which MSIL need to do a lot of learning.
