Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara S-CNG Launched

Following the announcement of Toyota Hyryder CNG, Maruti Suzuki has gone a step ahead and launched the Grand Vitara S-CNG, making it the first car in segment to offer factory-fitted CNG. Prices below are Ex.showroom:

• Delta CNG: ₹12,85,000
• Zeta CNG: ₹14,84,000

Maruti Grand Vitara CNG comes with 1.5L engine (5-speed MT) which delivers 88 PS and 121.5 Nm torque in CNG mode. In Petrol-only mode, figures stand at 100.61 PS and 136 Nm. The CNG fuel-tank capacity is 55 liters. As one would expect, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara CNG variants are also marginally heavier with kerb weight for Delta and Zeta variant being 1240 Kgs and 1245 Kgs respectively.
