Guys did anyone do a sound deadening in Ertiga? Can you guys suggest some good shops for that in Chennai and how much do they cost?

I Have done 10000km service on my Ertiga ZDI , I have fixed Roof rails /carrier same car color Ecru beige ,changed synthetic oil, then went for a four days trip , Marthandam to Ooty, velankanni etc,,.... . I got 18.5km/L milage 80 to 100km speed with six adults and three children and laguages . Please find the images of my beauty.........ertiga..

your ertiga is looking very nice. do they make this carrier in dusky brown col our. Is it legally allowed to put carrier in personal cars in India.

@ rohit, the whole setup costed me around 900rs as bulbs and relay costed around 700rs and 200rs fitting charges and i got it installed at and by MASS guy only.
For armrest i dont know the company's name as it all comes imported but it is a perfect fit for our car with matching colour.
For LED strips i dont think warranty may void as they do not cut any wires, they just attach it in the current wires.

Hi buddy which mass guy installed the setup,please tell me urgently since i am going to install it tomorrow itself.going for same 90/100 setup.
yes 3M under body quotes are as follows:
2 years-2290
5 years-3790

if going for 2 packages,such as paint protection, 1000 Rupees discount

Ertiga VDI - During my 2nd Servicing I had decided to get the AC Filter Fitted. The Filter was fitted and dealer charged me Rs. 1490/- for same. I did ask them to open the dashboard show me the filter fitted. I was surprised after seeing it been a small paper filter which is costing Rs. 1490/-.

After Archit and few other members posted in this forum about the filter been fixed by him at Rs.300/-, I started inquiring and got hold of the service center/dealer . Every time I called they assured me of checking same and getting back. But I never got a call back. Finally I got hold of one senior guy who confirmed that MGA AC Filter costs Rs.300/-. The reasoning they gave was not at all convincing , here it is what they said “During the time of my 2nd service MGA Stock was unavailable hence we fixed an Air Filter manufactured by outside vendor which is costing Rs. 1490/-. “ I was cheated

After giving them a earful they agreed to get this air filter replaced with MGA and refund me the difference money. Yesterday evening I got the filter replaced and now awaiting the Cheque for difference which is under process.

I have read in this forum few more ertigan members have got this ac filter fitted @ Rs.1500/-. Its time to get it replaced and get our money back. These dealers/service center guys can take “The automotive india” members for a ride.

The filter costs only Rs350 from MGP.Please go back to the dealer and fight this out.

Dealer is not meant to fit any OEM brands as that will void the warranty.

This is what all MASS service stations will tell you.

I had got this done at "Sai Service". It is very important and good that we all share our experience on this forum which will surely help us to be cautious and not let these dealers/service centers take us for a ride.

Mods, Please merge the two posts. This one is from MGA Brochure. It doesnt mention AC filters

@ nadkarni, sai service at lower parel or andheri? As when last week when my car went for service they told they dont have it in stock and the price quoted to me was 1800rs.

What is this filter for? Is it compulsory to get it fitted?

I never fitter any filter in my previous cars (i10, wagonR, indica) nor any dealer told about this while service.

Also, as I said earlier, that I am having problems in reversing the car and I am confused between sensors and camera. Are the sensors enough, if yes then getting the sensors fitted from outside will void the warranty or not?

If I go for a camera, then can you suggest any cheap but good quality camera with screen that can play movies as well.
