JLR India today announced an exceptional 36% year-over-year (YoY) growth in retail sales for the first half of fiscal year 2025 (H1 FY25), with 3,214 units sold.

• A strong increase in sales of 41% in Q2 FY25 followed the increase of 31% in Q1 FY25.
• This robust performance was driven by improved supplies and sustained demand for the Range Rover and Defender models, particularly with the local manufacture of the entire Range Rover portfolio.
• Last month also witnessed the launch of the first ever India inspired Bespoke SV – the Ranthambore Edition, with all 12 limited editions pre-booked.

JLR India has announced its best ever nine-month retail sales of 4,390 units representing robust growth of 23% YTD FY25 with the first nine-month retail sales already matching the full year sales of FY24.

• The Q3 FY25 retails at 1,177 units saw a slight decline of 4% Y-o-Y due to the planned run-out of older models across certain name plates.
• Land Rover Defender continues to be the highest selling model in its category while the introduction of locally manufactured Range Rover and Range Rover Sport in May 2024 has received a positive response.
• The recently launched Range Rover SV Ranthambore Edition, the first ever limited edition crafted for India, priced at ₹4.98 crores, sold out within a week, demonstrating the brand's growing popularity in the country.

JLR India has reported its highest-ever annual sales in its 17-year operations in the country in FY25.

• The company saw a record 6,183 retail sales in FY25, representing 40% year-on-year growth, while wholesale volumes reached 6,266 units, up 39% year-on-year.
• The company recorded its highest ever quarterly retail and wholesales in Q4 FY25 at 1,793 and 1,710 units respectively, with growth of 110% and 118% vs the same quarter in the prior year.
• In FY25, Defender was the highest selling model with growth of 90%, followed by locally manufactured Range Rover and Range Rover Sport at 72% and 42% respectively.

JLR India's retail facility, Empreo Prestige, in Bhubaneshwar has been relocated to Plot No.953, NH-16, Bhamphakuda, Nuahata, Cuttack – 754001, along the Cuttack-Bhubaneshwar Road.

• The fully integrated centre provides new and pre-owned vehicle sales, service and spare parts under one roof.
• The facility also showcases a curated selection of accessories and branded merchandise. JLR India's distribution network at present comprises 25 outlets across 21 cities nationwide.
