i don't understand why'd they charge 1500 rupees for tail lamps.

i think they use the glass tint film right ? you get a full role , autographix , for just 600 rupees which covers 4 glasses + rear glass.

and people get the 600 rupees one in > 2000 rupees. the thing is only those people who have knowledge about car products can bargain close to the exact price.

i'm not giving him 450 for tail lamps

For the tail lamps i was also having a choice for normal glass film for Rs. 300 only but it will be a pain to remove as it leaves marks if we remove it. Material which i have used is of fine quality as i did not wanted to compromise with my tail lamps. as i am satisfied with the work money does not matter to me. sticker guy also quoted me Rs. 800 for normal black tape but i was more interested towards carbon fibre vinyl.

i agree , it's our perception that if we are paying more we are getting good things but in car market it's totally opposite.

for the same thing , prices varies. i will talk to a friend tomorrow or the day after and will ask him to get a price quote from his guy.

Delhi will be on cheaper side as chandigarh accessories guys brings their stuffs from delhi only. Besides this no one does this type of things in Shimla coz of lack of knowledge.

I forgot to mention. Here, they smoke the tail lamps using spray paint. When I asked them if they can stick sunfilm, they said that they can't stick sunfilm because of the shape of the tail lamp. I guess they are not confident enough to do it. I'll try asking around at a couple of accessory shops in tvm and update accordingly.

Lip spoiler looks great. Have you noticed that verna is looking good without badges. I am also planning to de-badge my car soon.

ah ok so the look was changed because of the badges

i too noticed that it's looking different but seriously it does look great without badges

ask another shop guy , he suggested me some another shop who just deals in the roof vinyl

will go there tomorrow or maybe in the evening. have to find the shop.

i don't want to compromise the the level of stop light. i saw a swift today with just the indicator and reverse lights darkened. i photoshopped verna.

how does it looks ? and i have darkened a little bit of the red lights and removed the badges as well

OMG!!! It looks great. Now gotta work at DIY. next task...de badge the car. but as per my knowledge we can not remove hyundai badge as it leaves 2 small screw holes behind it. Correct me if i am wrong.

Later get Black alloys.

I too have planned the same mods (hopefully after the car completes one year)
Glossy black Roof; to match the over all glossy paint.
Black lip spoiler
Shark fin antenna like BMWs
Projectors may be.

I must say it looks good. Just love the fluidic Verna and i20. I think they are really beautiful cars.
I agree with the others here. You should get a lip spoiler in gloss black. It will look beautiful. And alloys. The car is screaming for alloys more than anything.
