Hi everyone,
I drive a 2019 Hyundai Verna (petrol), and recently I’ve noticed a constant whining noise coming from the engine bay. The sound is present whether the AC is on or off. I took it to the authorized service center, and they told me the AC compressor bearing is faulty and that the entire compressor needs to be replaced.
I then visited a few local workshops to see if there’s a more affordable solution, but they all told me that the bearing isn’t available separately.
Has anyone else faced a similar issue? Is it really necessary to replace the entire compressor, or is there a workaround? Any advice would be appreciated!
