- Hyundai Motor India has provided Indian Oil Corporation a Hyundai Nexo FCEV to conduct on-road trials spanning over 40,000 Kms for this purpose.
- Over two years, both the companies will examine the operational reliability and durability of the hydrogen powered vehicles in India, as well as assess the total cost of ownership.
- Hyundai Motor India is also working with IIT Madras to setup a Hydrogen Innovation Center to support research, pilot projects and serve as a testing platform for hydrogen mobility.
