Re: Hyundai Fluidic Verna Road Test Review

jay if you have already booked white then why are you confused? we guys can not decide a color for you, we can only tell you what we feel about the color.
it will be your car for a long time.
just make sure that you are not choosing purple only cause your gf influenced your thinking.
all colors the verna has are really good, and most on this forum have white.

Re: Hyundai Fluidic Verna Road Test Review

white is a favorite color of many, in my building alone there are 10 white cars including a merc. And for vernas most of them i see are white, i may see a purple once in a while.

also remember eye catching colors are ones to attract people with an uncontrolled hand to scratch your paint, example my car 2-3 times now

its not needed, theres a clear coat which is very glossy, if need be after a month you can buy a paste wax and do it yourself

Re: Hyundai Fluidic Verna Road Test Review

choice of color is subjective.
white and purple both are good colors.
i hope you wont have to fight with your gf because you chose white color.
it depends on you in which matter and how much importance you have to give to your gf in such decisions.

i didnt even ask my gf while choosing both car and color. she doesnt bother actually.

waiting to see second patel's fluidic on TAI. [;)]
just kidding.

Re: Hyundai Fluidic Verna Road Test Review

teflon coating is just hog wash, they say this and that, but will only polish the car which will take of an extremely tiny portion of the clear coat, and then they will use paste wax and charge you 2000.
if you want then go in for paint protection with sealant.
or else buy a paste wax costs 250 and a microfibre towel.
you only need to spend 2 hours in the morning/shade doing this and can use that same wax can for 6 times.
you can wax the car once a month or 4 times a year and once in a year maybe go in for a professional detailing.
look at my case.
i did not opt for teflon coating.
but my dad took the car to vkool to do a polymer coating of inr 13000 cause the brochure promised a lot and my dad thought i was dumb and being a pessimist by saying its just waste of money, end result no difference infact the surface wasn't even feeling like glass.
i wax it every month and till today its still shiny like a mirror and feels like glassMy watchmen's love washing my car, cause the cloth slides easily and water trickles down faster.

1.4 crdi is purely basic lacks abs as well as rear disc brakes, this really helps in safety please advise your friend to take at least the 1.6 crdi the difference won't be to big for the additional features and safety it has to offer

Re: Hyundai Fluidic Verna Road Test Review

Nick,

i would like to know whether teflon coating is harmful to the body paint or it is a normal thing which everyone is doing, secondly after coating is there any chance where one on the portion of the body colour started looking dull and then I have to forcefully do the coating every 4 months.

Re: Hyundai Fluidic Verna Road Test Review

it won't harm the paint, but its a waste of money for now when the car is new,
whether you do a teflon coating/waxing or you don't the paint will get swirl marks / loose its shine and you need to do it to retain the shine.
