Ok. Thx for the update...
So it seems that choosing Asta(O) over Asta is good deal...rather than getting aftermarket AVN fitted? Also is there any possibility to get Auto Dimming Mirror fitted from dealer?
i m the kinda person who goes for the factory fitted stuff so yes asta(o) is the way to go and i have had my car just for 2 days now but i m pretty happy with the touchscreen unit. It is responsive and the functionality is nice. about auto dimming-i m not sure if dealer can do this you are gonna have to inquire about it.
going for a night ride tonight will let you know how effective the day/night rear view mirror really is

OK fine...It would be helpful if you post pics and details on AVN with Audio/Video/Photos formats supported and how it works...

Wow. Thanks for sharing...Going to book Asta(O) in this weekend and lets see when they are giving delivery...
Have anyone inquired about Auto Dimming Mirror(without camera) as Hyundai has remove that from Asta(O) as they are giving reverse camera display on AVN. ECM is very good feature for such a luxury car and how can they remove such feature from top end variant!!!

ECM won't be available as a accessory. It comes factory fitted. And it can't be easily replaced like a normal mirror due to liquid present inside which helps the mirror to dim when the light hits the sensor.
Anyway, I prefer the Auto dimming mirror compared to not so useful feature like Touchscreen HU.

I don't agree...Touchscreen AVN is having several features and entire car looks upmarket because of that..I prefer AVN over ECM. But i am not saying that ECM is not useful feature...We can get ECM(without camera) installed. and day and night mirror is also serve the purpose but only thing is you have to manually adjust if you feel the car behind is running on high lights or so...
I agree on one point that Hyundai has done cost cutting by removing ECM from Asta(O)

Cost Cutting has been done by Hyundai on several fronts, despite increasing the price features were removed when compared what they had initially. They shouldn't have removed the ECM especially when one is paying such a premium.

Maybe you use the HU more then me, hence you sense that AVN will be better then ECM. No harm, you can use it but it should have been there when the mid variants get it as standard.
Are you sure, we can get the ECM fitted without camera, if yes please send the link. I would equip my cars with them. My 6th sense says that Aftermarket ECM aren't available while the IRVM mounted Camera can be easily had.

I was discussing the same with Hyundai representative and he said that ECM is available without Camera and can ne easily fitted...still i have asked him to check further and give me cost. He don't have details on hand but he will check and revert.

I am about to book Asta (O) AVN VTVT; someone said to me that the petrol engine is no fun to drive. When driving with 5 people on board with AC running, it does feel sluggish. - Is that True? - Pls. revert whosoever having Elite Petrol would help to me...
I am not sure about CRDI engine, as I have not driven it..
Currently I am using my i10 1.2 Petrol which is good and having proper engine for City Driving...
Pls. Suggest.

If your running is less and looking for Petrol car only, then I would recomend to consider Honda Jazz petrol too. Hyundai 1.2 petrol engine is not fun to drive as Jazz iVtec engine.
And if you consider disel too then its much better than Jazz disel one. The NVH is very poor compare to Hyundai's crdi engine.

I had driven both the Petrol & Diesel i20 before buying one in January this year. I had considered the i20 as a replacement for Figo. Although both cars are very different in character. Had there been Jazz, I would have bought it eyes closed. Since I was looking for Petrol car, I wanted a car with the best engine of the lot. Hence considered the Swift, i20, Polo. After test driving the i20 petrol, it felt disappointing. The car don't feel powerful, struggled to keep momentum & overtaking needed to be planned. And it was known to be thirsty as well. So next TD the Diesel i20, it was much better. Drivability was good & engine had enough torque & also felt the drive to be linear with minimal gearshifts required. This convinced me to get the diesel version & its been returning decent 14kmpl overall. If you're looking at Petrol Hatch, then my choice would be Polo TSi, Jazz, Swift.

Its true that i10 is efficient & feels energetic. Same can't be said about i20 petrol though.
