Hi all ,
Finally took out some time and clicked pictures of my new Elite i20 Pristin Blue which came on 25th July 2015.
I hope you all like :-) , any suggestions are welcome.

Blue looks majestic and wonderful set of seat covers.
I can see a shark fin antenna and it really suits the car
So what mods are planned or pending? have a safe drive.

Can this new infotainment system be fitted in elite i20 that has the regular system or no system at all? (Era) Is this system for sale separately?

Yes it can and the cost for that is Rs 45000/- only...lol

Asta (o) cost 18k more than normal version and i was expecting they would charge max 25k for the HU. Soon the market will be flooded with chinese after market headunits which will be similiar to factory fit but still the reliabilty of these units is a big question. I found some android headunit for elite i20 in aliexpress.com. Link below

my wait for elite i20 continues. got a call today from my sales guy i wanted the car in stardust grey but he is only getting silver and white asta(o) in the first lot. will have a chat with him tomorrow

Asta (o) cost 18k more than normal version and i was expecting they would charge max 25k for the HU.

Well they remove the normal stereo so you will have to decrease that amount for the asta (o)

Normal stereo - 10k
Touchscreen unit - 25k

Asta , say for 8,00,000
Asta (o) will be 815000.

Just enquired about installing AVN in existing elite i20, the SA said yes it can be done, but at present they are not doing it in the showroom, may be in future it will be done

Hyundai i20 , European version gets 4 star rating by NCAP. Loses a star from the previous generation.

@vm2011 those ratings are irrelevant to Indian market. The Indian version would probably be rated 1 star!

Can you post photos and videos of new i20 Asta Option AVN System and give details of its functionalities? Is it supporting voice commands and how smoothly its working? I am planning to purchase i20 Asta Option but waiting for some proper review on AVN and is there any other modifications Asta Option is having? Also I come to know that they have removed auto dimming mirror(ECM) from Asta Option and given camera display on touch screen and ticket holder is back...

Hyundai India just updated their website with updated photos in i20 with AVN but no further details provided on AVN

pictures or a video review might take some time. apologies for that but ECM has been replaced by a standard day\night mirror. it doesnt have voice commands and it doesnt really bother me. rear view camera display is on touchscreen and the visibility of touchscreen unit is good in sunlight. yes ticket holder is back but there is still only one power outlet

So it seems that choosing Asta(O) over Asta is good deal...rather than getting aftermarket AVN fitted? Also is there any possibility to get Auto Dimming Mirror fitted from dealer?
