The new Hero Xtreme 160R comes with a new gear-position indicator on the instrument panel. It also gets a revised design for the saddle and an integrated grabrail for pillion convenience. The motorcycle continues to offer single-pod headlamp unit, a side-slung exhaust, inverted LCD console with welcome message and adjustable 5 level brightness, side-stand engine cut off, auto sail tech and USB charger.
The new motorcycle is powered by a same 163cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that produces 15bhp of power at 8,500rpm and a peak torque of 14Nm at 6,500rpm. It is paired to a 5-speed gearbox. The motorcycle rides on 17-inch wheels shod with 100/80 and 130/70 section front and rear tires respectively.
The single disc variant has a kerb weight of 138.5kgs, while the dual disc model weighs 139.5kg. It offers a fuel tank of 12-litres capacity. The motorcycle is available in 5 colour options – Xtreme Stealth Edition (Black), Pearl Silver White, Vibrant Blue, Sports Red & 100 million limited edition (Red & White).
