The new Xtreme 125R was launched in India at Hero World 2024 by Hero MotoCorp. Priced at Rs 95,000 (ex-showroom) for the standard and Rs 99,500 (ex-showroom) for the ABS version, respectively, is this sporty commuter. It will go up against models such as the TVS Raider, Bajaj Pulsar NS125, and Honda SP125. An aggressive fuel tank with extensions, a slim tail section with split seats, and an elegant LED headlight are all parts of the Hero Xtreme 125R's dynamic design. The front suspension of the motorbike features telescopic forks and the rear uses a monoshock, and it shares chassis and exhaust components with the Xtreme 160R. Cobalt Blue, Firestorm Red, and Stallion Red are three eye-catching colour options for the Hero Xtreme 125R, which is sure to turn heads among commuters.

A dramatic design element of the motorcycle is the large fuel tank that is framed by strong side shrouds. Its LED headlamp is reminiscent of bigger bikes like the Kawasaki Z1000 and the new Honda CB1000 Hornet, adding to its striking appearance. Notably, the motorcycle stands out because to its twin pilot LED lights mounted on top, and its sleek LED indicators add to its overall attractiveness.

In profile, the bike's silver body panels give it a more expensive look and feel, while the split seat design gives it a more sporty vibe. Compared to other Hero 125cc bikes, this one stands out thanks to its fresh and modern exhaust design.

In addition, it has a small back end, telescopic front forks, monoshock rear suspension, split seats, wide handlebars, slim black-finished alloy wheels, and a short fly screen. A single-channel anti-lock braking system (ABS) assists the front and rear disc brakes, and in some models, the rear drum brake is also available. Improved sportiness over the Xtreme 160R is only one example of how the design takes an evolutionary approach.

A 125cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine with 11.5 bhp and 10.5 nm of torque powers the bike, and its fast five-speed transmission makes quick work of shifting gears. With front and rear 37 mm telescopic forks and a monoshock, the Hero Xtreme 125R offers a comfortable ride. The front disc brakes are standard, and you can choose between a drum or disc setup for the back.
