Founded in 2019, Gujarat based startup, Greta Motors has rolled-out four models of e-Scooters in India. Harper, Harper ZX, E-Vespa and Glide.

The scooters utilize 48-volt / 60-volt lithium-ion batteries with a running capacity of 70 Kms to 100 Kms per charge. There are four battery options to choose from:

V2 (Lithium+48V), V2+ (Lithium+60V), V3 (Lithium+48V) and V3+ (Lithium+60V).

Greta Scooters are priced in the range of Rs.60,000 – 92,000. There are upto 22 exterior color options. Premium Turquoise Blue and Rose Gold being the signature shades.

Transition to electric vehicles is the new disruption in the automotive industry. With a promise to magnify this disruption, Greta Electric Scooters, from Gujarat, has introduced a range of e-scooters in the market.

Greta Electric Scooters, a Gujarat-based start-up, is engaged in manufacturing Electric Scooters. Raj Mehta, the youngest entrepreneur in the industry with a single mission of reducing the carbon footprint, founded Greta Electric Scooters in 2019. Driven to make transportation affordable for most, he designed Greta to be an affordable E-scooter with state-of-art features. Greta Electric Scooters come in attractive colours, with designer consoles and offer extra-large storage space.

Currently, the four models rolled out in the market are Harper, Evespa, Glide, and Harper ZX. They all offer best-in-class comfort and superior performance with mileage in the range of 100 kms per charge. They all come with DRL, EBS, reverse mode, ATA System, smart shift, Digital instrument cluster display, keyless start and anti-theft alarm.

The Greta’s Harper, Evespa, and Harper ZX models feature drum disc brakes, while the Glide features dual disc hydraulic brakes that are more effective and reliable. Greta Electric Scooters take 4 hours to charge from zero to a full charge.

Greta Electric Scooters use 48-volt / 60-volt lithium-ion batteries with a running capacity of 70 km to 100 km per charge. Greta Electric Scooters offers Customers the option to choose the battery of their choice from the 4 available battery options V2 (Lithium+48V), V2+ (Lithium+60V), V3 (Lithium+48V) and V3+ (Lithium+60V).

Greta Scooters offer a variety of 22 different attractive colours options. Premium Turquoise Blue and Rose Gold colour being the two signature colours offered. Greta Scooters received approval from the International Centre for Automotive Technology (ICAT) in late 2019. The price range for Greta Scooters ranges from INR 60,000- INR 92000 in the Indian market.

To further the founder's vision of making transportation accessible to the majority, the focus for the year is to expand the domestic dealer network across major cities in the country. The first step in the direction has been the recently inaugurated highest altitude Electric Vehicle Showroom, by the Ladakh’s Member of Parliament, Mr Jamyang Tsering Namgyal at Leh, Ladakh, making it the World’s Highest Altitude for an electric vehicle to be available.

Greta Glide electric scooter launched with 100 km range at Rs 80,000

Greta Electric has come forward with their new offering Greta Glide electric scooter. The new scooter can provide a range of up to 100 km. The company has revealed the pricing of the new scooter and also shared the driving range of the new scooter. The scooter gets a new design that sets it apart from from both the Greta Electric eVespa and Greta Electric Harper.

The new Greta Glide electric scooter is available at a price of Rs 80,000 for the base variant. Customers can pre-order to avail offers such as Rs 6,000 off on pre-booked scooters and Rs 2,000 off on spot booked scooters. Greta Glide will be available in four battery variants. The company Greta Electric is offering a 3-year battery warranty.

Greta Glide will be available in seven colours: Yellow, Grey, Orange, Scarlet Red, Rose Gold, Candy White and Jet Black. The product price changes with the choice of battery.

Here are the four battery variants and the riding range they offer:
-V2 48v-24Ah for 60 km per charge,
-V2+60v-24Ah for 60 km per charge,
-V3 48v-30Ah for 100 km per charge,
-V3+60v-30Ah for100 km per charge

Specifications and Features
The Greta Glide electric scooter is powered by Li-Ion batteries that the company claims it offers fast charging under 2.5 hours. Greta Glide comes with like DRLs, EBS, ATA System, and Smart Shift. The company offers 3.5 inch wide tubeless tyres with the scooter.

The Greta Glide supports Reverse Drive mode, 3-Speed Drive Mode, LED Digital Instrument Cluster Display, Keyless Start, Anti-Theft Alarm, Front Glove Box, Light Designer Consoles & Extra-Large Leg Room, Find My Vehicle Alarm, quality black leatherette seat cover, a USB port for comfort and convenience.

For suspension, Greta Glide uses conventional telescopic forks at the front and Dual Hydraulic Cell Shocker at the rear. For stopping power it gets Dual Hydraulic Disc Brakes at both the ends.

Greta teases its new electric scooter ahead of launch

Greta Electric Scooters, an EV company from Gujarat has announced that it will be launching its next electric scooter. Greta Electric Scooters released a new teaser video for the new scooter that will be announced soon.

In the video, we get a glimpse of the new electric scooter and even some features. The scooter gets a digital screen that shows the speed of the scooter, the range, and even battery percentage. There is a huge tail-light assembly with relatively small side indicators.

We get a glimpse of the handlebar and all buttons and switches. The scooter will also get a key fob with remote locking feature. The headlight assembly is surrounded by daytime running lights.

Greta Electric is expected to bring this high-speed scooter to the Indian market soon. The company has launched a total of four electric scooters in the past three years. All scooters have a claimed range of 100 km per charge.
