Fisker Opens Headquarter in India

The American electric automaker, Fisker, has opened its headquarter in Hyderabad, India. It is called “Fisker Vigyan” and will focus on software, virtual vehicle development, data analytics and machine learning etc.

Fisker Vigyan is expected to provide 200 potential jobs in India. Globally, the brand is also expanding its workforce from existing 450 employees to 800+ by end-2022.

Fisker unveiled Ocean SUV in 2020, the production of which will commence from November 2022. It competes with Tesla Model-Y. There’s, however, still no confirmation of its launch in India. (Source: ACI)
