Hello everybody. I have one question regarding engine oils for bikes and cars.I want to ask whether engine oil has expiry date or not. Today i bought engine oil for my pulsar 150 and saw that it has only manufacturing date on it but expiry date is not mentioned anywhere. I am asking this because the manufacturing date is exactly one year old and i want to know how long does oil remains good in sealed pack can ?

Sealed can shell life is about three to five years, opened can should be used in one year.

For how many KM of usage engine oil has to be changed for bikes and cars?
Need info for
110 CC bike
150 CC bike
1400 CC car
Have a look at the owners manual / manufacturer recommendation

For cars 10K or once in year whichever comes first regarding bike no idea.
Couldn't blindly conclude on these numbers. Lot of factors decide the oil change interval
Oil property deterioration rate depends on
- engine speed
- engine internals cleanliness & healthiness (including internal gas & liquid leakage)
- environment & usage pattern (high temperature, B2B traffic, etc)
- Most importantly, the type & grade of oil (Mineral, semi synthetic, synthetic)

IMO for cars running with mineral oil, 7~8k km is optimal range for change interval.

I have suggested manufacturer suggested interval which suits majority of public, other factors are purely limited to interest of the customer with some automobile knowledge.
