Buying a New Bike This New Year. Please Suggest!

Hello everyone!

I'm planning to buy a bike on this new year, but researching a lot I got finally confused among several models out there in ma price range. Here I'm pin-pointing my requirements below, please help me to buy one and yeah thanx in advance.

Requirements :

• Max Budget -> 75 - 80
• Daily travel on busy NH -> 30-35 KM
• Engine can bear the load of travelling across cities -> 150 - 200 cc
• Style -> Really matters a lot to me.
• Pickup -> I usually drive at 65 - 75 and 85 - 90 on long drive.
• Milege -> 40 - 55 kmpl

My suggestions as in order
150 CC class

1. Hero Extreme/ Hunk with rear Disc

2. Honda CB Trigger with rear disc

3.Suzuki GS 150 R

If you can extend your budget Rs10 K more

1. Pulsar 200 Ns
2. Karizma (not zmr)
3. Pulsar 220
4. Pulsar 180


I am not suggesting Unicorn, FZ/Fazer, Apache 160/180, pulsar 150 because, i feel it will not match your requirements

In this price range you can get Pulsar 180, Avenger, Yamaha FZ.

I'd suggest ONLY Avenger, primarily because you would be driving 30-35 kms at a stretch and Avenger is a damn comfortable cruiser.

Fz-S would be my pick. Styling(Subjective), Quality, smooth engine. If you can extend , then Pulsor 200NS (1L OTR) will be your best bet.

Apart from the valuable suggestions from our friends, here, your requirements are pretty simple to buy any 150cc bike except looks which is very much subjective. Try CB Trigger you may like it

150 cc: CBZ xtreme and apache rtr 160
or else you can go for karizma r which is know for it's comfort and get extneded warranty have peace of mind with Honda reliability and hero sales. i got the news from my local dealer that refreshed karizma r and zmr will be available by end of january 2014. the sales guy is an informative person, he said that the new bikes would be lighter by 15 kilos.
