Budget Diesel Hatchback

Hi Folks

I am plan to buy a diesel hatchback for my local driving,

It's not more than 3.75 L -4.75 L onroad kovai + allow 0.25 L

My monthly kms drive as 1000 kms-1500 kms

It's should be an more mileage + good a/c performance + and not more service expense +

Inbuilt there is an power steering + seat adjustable + more comfort

there is an option to put a remote lock + power window's + some extras,

Hi,

You can get all your requirements fullfilled. But you have to spend 1-1.25 L more to get it. You have only 3 options Chevy Beat, Maruti Ritz and Ford Figo. So I would recommend to go through the details of those cars well before deciding one.

It seems your budget can't meet Toyota Liva or Micra Diesel and if it were then it would have good.
So i will suggest you to go for a Chevy Beat Diesel.

Swift Diesel and Ritz Diesel are more apt for your requirement. I suggest go for Ritz Diesel and MASS you should be happy enough to crunching miles. Rear seat is much better in Ritz than in Swift. And DDIS engine is fun to drive in city and highways.

So the maximum of maximum is 5L budget.
i fear Nothing comes within that .
the cheapest of the lot must be a vista , tdi terra model in that budget.
a bit more , vista qjt , terra model .
no idea of new swift diesel pricing.

You probably should stretch your budget a little more and go for the new Swift I might say.

The best bet in that budget is Vista TDI. It is a good VFM car with loads of space inside. Barring some issues with Tata A.S.C., everything else goes for the car.

Stretch your budget slightly and go in for the Vista Quadrajet. Happened to drive one recently. It was the latest model with the drivetech-4 gearbox from fiat.

Was so good and responsive like petrol and also spacious! But, if you are fixed on the budget then you can consider the Beat Diesel, again a VFM offering from Chevy Motors

+1. Even Beat D would be a good option. It is a very silent car and apt for city and occasional highway run.

If you are okay with a TATA car then Vista is the best bet for you. Else look at Chevy Beat diesel , there are not much options in this price range.

First of all take a TD, avoid 3 cylinder engine when going for Diesel.
I would suggest Vista LX QJD, will fall near your budget.

Out of all the options 4 are running on Fiat Engine.

So why not Punto !!!!
