BMW India has launched two new diesel variants of the BMW X3: xDrive20d xLine and xDrive20d M-Sport. These diesel variants are locally produced and are priced at ₹67,50,000 and ₹69,90,000 respectively.

- The two-liter four-cylinder turbo diesel motor produces 190 BHP and a maximum torque of 400 Nm at 1,750 – 2,500 RPM. The car accelerates from 0 -100 Kmph in 7.9 seconds with a top speed of 213 Kmph.
- The M-Sport package provides the BMW X3 a sportier orientation with features such as "M" badging, gloss chrome tailpipes, high-gloss black roof rails and kidney frames, 19" alloys, sport seats, "M" interior trim etc.
- BMW Service Inclusive and Service Inclusive Plus packages are optionally available. It covers Condition Based Service and maintenance with plans ranging from 3-Years / 40,000 Kms to 10-Years / 2,00,000 Kms.
- BMW X3 also comes with an optional BMW Repair Inclusive that extends the warranty benefits from third year of operation to maximum fifth year, after the completion of the standard two-year warranty period.
