BMW 5-Series LWB Launched in India

BMW India has opened the bookings for BMW 5-Series Long Wheelbase (LWB) which is scheduled to launch on 24 July 2024.

• The car will be locally produced at BMW Group Plant in Chennai and can be pre-booked at the BMW dealership network and through BMW Online shop.
• Adapted in numerous details to the specific requirements of Indian target groups, the extended wheelbase results in a particularly generous space and comfort in the rear.
• The eighth generation BMW 5-Series (LWB) has a wheelbase of 3,105 mm. It measures at 5,175 mm length, 1,900 mm width and 1,520 mm height. The standard tyre size is 225/55 R18.
• BMW 5-Series LWB is expected to come equipped with a 2.0L Turbo-Petrol with an 8-speed automatic transmission. Prices could start from ₹80,00,000 onward (Ex.showroom).

BMW India has launched the all-new BMW 5-Series Long Wheelbase. The car can be booked at BMW dealerships across India and the deliveries will commence from September 2024.

• BMW 5-Series LWB is available exclusively in a petrol variant. The introductory Ex.Showroom price of BMW 530Li M-Sport is ₹72,90,000.
• The 5-Series LWB is the biggest car in its segment having the following dimensions: Length: 5,165 mm, Width: 2,156 mm, Height: 1,518 mm, Wheelbase: 3,105 mm.
• The 2.0-litre four-cylinder TwinPower Turbo Petrol engine produces a power output of 258 HP and a maximum torque of 400 Nm at 1,500 – 2,500 RPM.
• Additionally, the engine features a 48V Electrical Motor with 11 HP and 25 Nm. The car accelerates from 0 -100 Kmph in 6.5 seconds with a top speed of 250 Kmph.
