Audi has launched the new Audi Q3 premium compact SUV in India. The model has seen great success in India previously, and after being discontinued just before the BS6 regulations kicked in, the premium compact SUV is back on sale in the Indian market with prices starting from Rs. 44.89 lakh (Ex-showroom). Audi India opened the bookings for the Q3 SUV earlier this month for a sum of Rs. 2 lakh, and it is expected that the deliveries will begin towards the end of this year.
Audi is giving benefits to its first 500 customers, which include a 2+3 year extended warranty, 3 year/50,000 km comprehensive service value package, and further special loyalty benefits to existing Audi India customers.
The second-generation Audi Q3 looks much sportier than its predecessor thanks to the striking Singleframe in octagon design divided up by vertical bars, along with the large air inlets. The sleek Matrix LED headlights run inwards with their wedge shape. The profile balances the exterior design with the symmetrical lighting graphics of the headlights and rear lights. The contours draw their inspiration from Audi’s Quattro DNA and make the SUV seem even wider. The long roof edge spoiler flanks the rear window at the side, with a steeply raked C pillar.
The new Audi Q3 features a 2.0-litre petrol engine which develops 187 bhp and 320 Nm, paired to a 7-speed automatic gearbox and Quattro all-wheel drive system. It does the 0-100 kmph sprint in 7.3 seconds and has a top speed of 222 kmph. The 2022 Audi Q3 goes up against capable rivals like the BMW X1, Mercedes-Benz GLA, and Volvo XC40 in the Indian market.
