In child hood almost every student from all over Maharashtra had visited SHIVNERI fort during their school trips.Even I had visited 2 times. But now don't remember anything.

Recently got a chance to visit the historic fort again.
This fort is located in Pune District Junnar Vilage.

Visiting Timing 6 AM - 6 PM

This fort is well maintained.Lots of gardens newly developed.
Detail informative boards.
Very clean.
As it is rainy season its lush green everywhere.

Also visited 2 of the Ahstavinyak Ganpati Temples which are very near to shivneri fort.

Hey Sujeet, nice set of pictures.
I myself did visit Lenyadri & Ojhar during my visit to Shirdi.
But it was not greener as i am seeing lenyadri.

Its really unbelievable to understand how they have carved the roof without pillars.

I too have the pic of vinayak there.

And also have seen Army men learning monster truck on this route.

In Ojhar we enjoyed cold coconuts in the early morning with malai.

Mansoon is the best time to visits west side of Maharashtra.Its all green everywhere.
