Yes, i am a native of Kerela - God's own country. We even have our own tourism business developing in kerela. On my recent visit there, I just thought why not click a few pics so that my friends in TAI can have a glimpse of God's own country. Mind you, these are nothing extraordinary pics & these are pics of only Allepey which is known as "The Venice of Kerela".
this is actually a road! heads to a place called champakulam, which is basically an island. the only way to reach this place was through boats. recently, the Govt constructed the roads for this place.
Some pics of houseboats. these houseboats take you for a trip around the backwaters & they are available in plenty in allepey. you can even book them for more than a day stay. bedrooms even have ACs but i am sure you wont need them!
