There seems to be some hope for all those Pulsar fans who weer waiting for their purchases and others waiting for an update to their old Pulsar, as Bajaj finally after months of speculations announced that they will be launching the New Pulsar 2012 in December in view of celebrating 10 years of the brand. However, they wee quick to clarify that this will just be a sneak peak at the bike and not the official launch, which will definitely happen in 2012, as the bike is expected in showrooms in 2012. Though BALs MD Rajiv Bajaj has made high claims that the bike will include technology that no other bike in the world can compete with, we are hopeful that the bike will meet these high expectations. This new technology will first appear on the new Pulsar but will slowly be employed in other brands too. “We launched the first Pulsar in November 2001 and are now ready with a 100 per cent new bike with remarkable engine technology. It is really the next big step after DTS-i,” said Mr Bajaj. The official specifications of the bike are not yet out but we are expecting Bajaj to include atleast a minimum of 250cc engine if it has to compete with Honda CBR250R. The company is hopeful that the exports owing to this new introduction of technology will surely see rise in coming years. It is also expected that the sale in African and ASEAN markets will go above the domestic sales.
