2005 Bajaj Pulsar Restoration

Hi Folks,

In 2008 I brought my first bike, A Bajaj Pulsar 150 DTSi It was. That came with digital meter, disc brakes, back-lighted switches and what not.

Just upgraded rear Tyre a bit wider and used it for more than 50k kilometers until the car bug hits on me, with added some family reasons I sold that beauty to one of my friend.

(Yes, that means I ridden that bike several times after selling too.)

5 Years passed without having a bike, but I enjoyed driving my car the most.

But now there was a need for a bike for the local rides, As it was not easy to drive the car on the broken roads always. for the same reason no new bike even.

To cut the story short, I brought an old version of the Pulsar from a well known mechanic and I am planing to restore it, to the original look and feel.

Suggestions are welcome, and pics will follow soon!

I would post the pics this week, why I am lagging is the lack of a camera. I hope my mobile will back this week from service center (Given for a board replacement under warranty)

I postponed the plan of painting Pulsar to a new color as it was looking nice after a quick polish this weekend. Did some DIY;s, such as Dual horns fitting, fuel float change, Brake light switch replacing. I am waiting to get side stand indicator switch and a New battery! Tyre's also need replacement.

Used red insulation tap as black was not available with the spare parts guy. Will change it to black this weekend :)

Bike is running well, changed Rear Tyre and battery with self motor relay! but for brighten up back-light of the meter I removed meter but its showing age and broken into pieces. I am looking for a meter assy. I will post the pic here when I get that
