Yokohama Off-Highway Tyres has launched the Agri Star II R–I, a technologically advanced agricultural tyre in India. It is a radial tyre with a unique ‘Stratified Layer Technology’, designed to meet the needs of tractor owners.

- YOHT has launched the new tyre under its Alliance brand that has a pedigree of introducing flagship products in the Flotation tyre and IF & VF tyre segments.
- SLT is a unique combination of two layers: The top layer with a single angle profile and bottom layer with a multi-angle profile. The combination of these layers ensures higher lug competency.
- With SLT, after 40% wear, multi-angle profile layer of the lug comes in contact with the ground which leads to increased contact area at the central portion which in turn results in increased grip and better roadability.
- Yokohama Agri Star II R–I comes with an enhanced self-cleaning property. Furthermore, the tyre is said to provide low soil compaction, better braking capability, superior traction and a long tyre life.
