Hi Friends,
Not all cars have the remote trunk or fuel tank opener, tired of unlocking them by keys ?
Here comes the Remote Fuel tank and trunk opener !
Try this out by your self.. As I have done on my maruti 800..
Things\spares needed -
1. Two cables, I have used zen fuel lid cable and esteem's trunk cable.(as per your car length)
2. Zen lever.
3. Fuel tank latch\lock & spring.
Here there is no need for modifications of any locks, we can either use the key or lever to unlock..(hence no need of filling up the gaps,welding, painting, etc)
This procedure requires 1 hole at the fuel tank , nothing more than that, need to bend the lock of the fuel tank and place the spring so that the door is pushed when the lock is released.
The total cost involved in this is 400.Rs

Thanks for sharing it with us, Varun. It's quite interesting for those who are passionate to work on their 800 themselves. I guess, some elaborated steps will make this thread more helpful.
