hi,
Finally after three months of scratching my head over all the available 5l-7l hatchbacks, I went ahead with what my heart said and got Grande Punto 1.3 Dynamic .
The Contenders:
1.Swift VDI
2.Ritz VDI
3.Toyota Etios Liva
4.Vista D90
5. Punto Dynamic
1.Swift VDI
Pros:
1.Drive was good and Peepy to drive in the city.
2.Excellent ASS.
Cons:
1.Overpriced according to the features it offers 7.64 on-road bangalore.
2.No music system,No ABS.
3.window was rattling while the test drive.
4.Cramped rear compared to competition.
2.Ritz VDI(ABS)
Pros:
1.Drive was good and Peepy to drive in the city.
2.Excellent ASS.
3.ABS
Cons:
1.Overpriced according to the features it offers 7.50 on-road bangalore.
2.No music system.
3.less boot space.
4.Everybody hated the design.
3.Toyota Etios Liva GD SP
Pros:
1.Drive was good.
2.Excellent ASS.
3.ABS and Airbags.
4.Price was good 7.74 and offered 35k discount.
5.Cooling Box.
6.Very spacious and large boot space.
Cons:
1.Felt very hard clutch.
2.Very light body.
3.din't look premium.

Pros:
1.Fantastic Drive quality.
2.Very well built like Tank.
3.ABS.
4.Price was good 7.82 and offered 70K discount.
5.MID,Music System.
6.Felt like Driving Petrol.
7.Very good Boot space.
8.Very good GC 195mm.
Cons:
1.ASS.
2.No usb/Aux in with music system.
Figo: as my friends have this car and i personally dint like the because of GC,every time i drive i will be managed to scrap the belly hence not considered.
Vista D90: was not interested in test drive because already having vista petrol and don't want same car.
Polo: 3 pot engine and price is expensive hence not considered.
Family was impressed with Punto because of the built quality,space and Price.
Dealership experience:
Called AADYA Motors for test drive on 16/08/2013 at 10.00 am and promptly arrived to my residence at 5.00 pm.
Accessories Offered free of cost .

Car Loan 85% on road price From SBM at interest rate of 10.75%.
Booked the car in AADYA Motors,bangalore on 23/08/2013.
vehicle: Grande Punto 1.3 Dynamic Exotica Red.
booking process and Loan process went smoothly but faced hiccups in delivery.
*car arrived to stock yard on 2/09/2013 and took PDI on same day confirmed to go head for registration.
*called up SA and asked her to give delivery on 6/09/2013 and specifically told her i am going to put leave to take delivery and she committed for the same date.
*On 4/09/2013 received call from her and asking for two more photos for registration.I asked her already you have collected 6 photos and your finance executive have collected 8 photos is it not enough? she gave cool reply that she has misplaced please provide sir to the RTO i was so and gave her good hearing. At last as we was eager to take delivery on 6th. my father went and gave 2 photos.
*The D-day on 06/09/2013 came called up no reply.Got SMS i am in meeting i will call back.
i replied her "ok no problem We will be coming at 1.30 to get the car".
got reply "sir pls dont come we have some problem".
after 20 mins i got the call, I asked what is the problem she told reg is not yet done i got so furious blasted her right and left she passed the phone to delivery manager he also got some earful after all the fight she told she will deliver the car at 4.30 with out Accessories and to come back on 7/9/2013 for the fitment.
i really got irritated and decided not to take delivery without Accessories and told her i will take on next day. She was happy and told every thing will be ready by next day on 7/09/2013 with all the fitment.
*On 7/09/2013 called again for the confirmation and told i will be coming at 12.30 to get the car.Went for the delivery with sweet box and Completed all the formalities,got the demo of the car,car was clean and shining but still Reverse parking sensors not installed because of out of stock.Again i have to go for only this fitment for 40 kms .
