Great piece of news. Hyundai is now on a spree to fill up each possible segment in their line up with fashionable fluidic range. Elantra was an affordable feature laden sedan during its own time and I'm expecting some strict competition with Avante too. Now it is certain that Hyundai will position it above Verna which translates into Rs.11+ Lakhs territory. Likewise, New Sonata will also compete head on with Honda Accord. Nice to know about another special treat that we have in store for Auto Expo.

WOW ! I am amazed and speechless. But I doubt we would get these interiors in India. Or it will too expensive. See people of India do not consider Hyundai and premium brand like Merc, BMW etc.

RIP civic. not only because of the looks, but also the looks, but also the interiors, and because the civic is quite old, and the new one is being called a POS almost everywhere.

Thats great design. Hyundai is the best in the non premium brands to design a car like this. I was floored by the fluidic verna design. But this Elantra is even better. Hope civic and corolla would be put RIP status unless they come with new design.

Great News, Amongst all the foreign manufacturers Hyundai seem to getting it all right as part of their indian/ global strategy..their ability to focus on pretty much all segments shows their commitment to the indian market - i think if they get this all right the consumer perception to them will also change and so will the brand positioning.
i read recently even the santa fe will have a price cut due to localisation - if this is indeed true then they might just have another nice feather in their cap.

Wow..Now I have fluidic verna. If two things (Handling and Suspension) are good in elantra then this will be my next car.
