ever wondered how to paint your calipers and rear drums?
here you go, its an easy thing to do, all you need are
1.spray can ( desired color)
2.patience
your calipers look like this after your done with the DIY
To start with, jack your car and take your tyre off,
due to the indian conditions your disc caliper is full of dust and oil on it, this doesnt allow the paint to settle on it so use " metal thinner" to clean the caliper
cover the disc and other parts with newspaper spo that the paint doesnt settle on any other part except the caliper
now spray the paint all over the caliper and let it dry, after its dry spray another coat for a better finish
after the second coat is dry, take out all the covering
now put bac your tyre and dont forget to tighten the screws
repeat the same procedure for the other front tyre
coming to the back tyre
jack itup and remove the tyre
clen the drum with thinner, cover the screws so that paint doesnt settle on it, else you will face problems in fitting the bolts,
spray the paint and let it dry, repeat this for a couple of times for a better finish
remove the covering on the screws and install the tyre back,
there you go, you are done with the diy
have fun guys and dont forget to use gloves so that you dont urt yourself in anyways
