ever wondered how to paint your calipers and rear drums?
here you go, its an easy thing to do, all you need are
1.spray can ( desired color)
2.patience[:D]

your calipers look like this after your done with the DIY

To start with, jack your car and take your tyre off,

due to the indian conditions your disc caliper is full of dust and oil on it, this doesnt allow the paint to settle on it so use " metal thinner" to clean the caliper

cover the disc and other parts with newspaper spo that the paint doesnt settle on any other part except the caliper

now spray the paint all over the caliper and let it dry, after its dry spray another coat for a better finish
after the second coat is dry, take out all the covering

now put bac your tyre and dont forget to tighten the screws

repeat the same procedure for the other front tyre
coming to the back tyre
jack itup and remove the tyre

clen the drum with thinner, cover the screws so that paint doesnt settle on it, else you will face problems in fitting the bolts,

spray the paint and let it dry, repeat this for a couple of times for a better finish

remove the covering on the screws and install the tyre back,

there you go, you are done with the diy [clap]
have fun guys and dont forget to use gloves so that you dont urt yourself in anyways

i used com-paint, got it for 130rs, any color costs the same
its a spray can so you dont need any other equipment to spray the paint and cost of labour is free coz im the labour here[lol]
and the final result is priceless as u said[:)]

and guys one more thing, apply as many layers as you want, but make sure every layer dries before you apply another, this gives you better finish

nice job man.

i have painted yellow on mine.
mine is too a DIY.

i removed the caliper and drum and painted using brush.

i dont have a detailed picture as yours though.

The paint i used is normal asphalt paint.

if you remove the caliper you need to refill brake oil .
What i did is removed the brake oil linings and blocked with a screw, like a cork.

so next procedure after topping up brake oil is just bleed air from pipes.

The normal asphalt paint i used is 30rs for 100ml.
and it was enough to paint the whole.

a brush 10rs
thinner 35rs but didnt use that
sand papers , to surface smooth the drum and calliper.

napster , the idea of thinner for cleaning didnt strike me.
