Hi Kush,

My sugesstion to you is

1) Head unit from Pioneer . ( USB and CD) Touch will cost you around 15K
2) Ovals - Either JBL GTO 0949 or Infinity Ref 690. Hertz are also good however JBL and Infinity are preferred. will cost you from 4 to 5500 respectively.
3) Sub - At the current budget . you have no choice but only Pioneer sub . however you can wait and increase your budget and get a Rockford Enclosure for around 5.5K
4) I would highly recommend a monoblock amp as it is specially made to handle subs however it will cost you 10K minimum ( Kenwood , Arc Audio, Audison) are brands you can get them.
5) Wiring for the Amp ( costs you from 1500 to 3K) Scoche or Stinger audio( Stinger is a West coast customs brand).

This setup will cost you around 40K . Please let me know in case you need any additional information.

Hi Kush,

I would recommend not to go with Pioneer speakers as they are a tad weak than JBL/Infinity. I would recommmend JBL speakers along with JBL sub and amp.

Are you opting in for a JBL monoblock amp or a 4 channel amp.
P.S - Wiring is critical so please ensure that you use the best wiring kit for your amp.
Try to listen to different speakers before finalizing. Nowdays, the dealers fits them in your car and asks you to decide which sound you like the most ( Atleast my dealer does it ).

Can you ask him to give brand names and model numbers for each component. Also, 4 speakers of 300 each is just a vague statement to make, ask him if he is talking about 6" drivers or 6x9 drivers.

This Pio HU is quite a decent one and looks fab too. For front speakers I'd suggest components. 609C are decent ones but have a look at RF and Morels too. Rear fills are fine as per your dealer 1. One thing thought, why are you going for a 2-ch amp? I guess you should opt for a 4-ch amp, give 2-ch to front components and bridge other 2-ch to give to the sub. Rears can be powered directly from the HU.

I think the Pioneer unit is good enought in terms of output. I would recommend go for JBL 6" ( Components or Coaxials is your discretion). It will give you surround sound and then opt for JBL GTO0949 6X9" will cost you around 4K.
Do not opt for Pioneer Sub as it is too noisy and not good in terms of sound clarity. The 2 Channel Blaupunkt Amp is not powerful enough for a sub. I actually think you can opt for JBL Bass pro with built in amp . So your setup should be

1) FH D60500B
2) JBL 6" Components or Coaxs
3) JBL GTO 0949 6X9"
4) JBL BassPro
5) Scoche Wiring Kit
6) Optional Amp for the speakers ( Blaupunkt 2 Channel)

Hope this helps

Hi Kush,

If you opt for All JBL, you can replace the GTO 609C with Coaxials ( Components will perform only if attached to an amp which will further increase your budget) , that will cost you max 2K . You save 3K there. Can you give me a breakdown of the Misc 2800 bucks ?

You can then opt for a low end Pioneer Music system. My sugesstion to you is that if you go with what I have suggested, you will get crystal clear sound and punchy bass.
