Made in Taiwan Parts - Are they Reliable Enough?

the lower arm for maruti baleno which is still sgp costs 4800INR each.in local market some imported stuff available for 2500INR for a pair. does anybody know how reliable these parts are?? please share your expirience if any.

I'm not sure how reliable it is. But i've seen many using such parts. But i'd suggest to stay safe and avoid them.

i was charged 1400inr for my m800 lower arms, trust me, go for genuine spares from maruti, dont get any of the taiwan made and other parts, they dont last long
i got a drive shaft from the local market and they claimed its imported, just in 2months it got spoilt and i had to replace it again with the genuine spare

Its not advisable to go for these parts, To save small penny you may have to pay more afterwords. So I suggest you to go for Maruti Genuine Parts & Accessories only.

aftermarket spares are not safer bet to buy as to companies branded parts, cause they play a majoy role in your vehicles which in short term may be cheaper but in longer run are more costlier then original parts.Strict to originals only.You can buy from dealers, distributors at some discounted rates then from ASS,but buy only originals only.

For maruti there is MGP . so why risk your life in duplicates?
Or if you are well aware in auto field get it from spare store and look for the companies seal.

i'll explain.
Say kbx brakes pads cost 500/-
tvs brakes pads cost 700/-
in a MGP cover you will get pads for 850/-
in that MGP cover you may get kbx or tvs.That depends.

so if you are well aware in auto field , go to store and get a kbx pads.(Both tvs and kbx are good)
in store you can get xxxx companies brakes for 350/- too. but you'll be in risk if you buy them just to save some money.
like this for each part there are choices in make.
