time for replacing my stock battery.:) Its almost dead.I am looking at AMARON FLO MF Battery. Stock is 38B20L,Whats the max amp battery i can fix?

I am using Din45 battery in my 800. Which is 45 amps (cold start 75 amps). There are two things which needs to be modified, the battery cover plate and terminals.

Sorry didnt get you. You using 45Amp battery in your M800? Up to how much amps alto's alternator can charge?

Alto's alternator is 50 amps it can charge this battery, as one of my friend is using the same battery in his 800 with 40 amp alternator.

I also use a 45amp Amaron in my 1997 M800. Never had a problem. So go for Amaron.

Had a talk with AMARON Dealer here,He said Codes like 42B20L,38B20L etc all are manufacturer codes and has no role in determining its Amps,He said all are 35 Amp Batteries. He quoted 3900RS for AMARON Flo 42B20L @ Kollam,Kerala. Also enquired price at another shop,he said he will call me on tomorrow morning as he is not having it in stock. What say guys?

MRP is about 4097rs or something :) He said he will give me discount.I am waiting for other guy's reply.

Called another dealer,He said price is nearly 4000rs. Seems like i have to bargain there. He said he will give me 600-650rs for the old battery.

Bought AMARON FLO 42B20L

Bought AMARON FLO 42B20L. MRP is 4027RS. I got it for 3900RS,Got a discount of 550rs for old battery,So paid 3350rs for the battery.:) Now my car is starting like hell.
