Buddies,

Today we attended the Off-Roading media drive organised by Eicher Polaris. It was held at an Off-Roading track on Gurgaon-Faridabad Road. So far, as you all may know, I sat as a passenger in the off-roading events but this was actually the best time and opportunity for me to let go of my shyness towards this exciting aspect of motor-sports. Yes, today, I took to the driver's seat in Eicher Polaris MultiX, a capable Multi Purpose Vehicle and did Off-Roading in it. This perhaps was a great learning experience for me because I got to learn sufficiently in a very easy to drive vehicle. The Eicher Polaris MultiX is a good offering from the brand for people running small business. The day-to-day logistical needs can be easily taken care-off by this able vehicle. The MultiX can be a source to generate electricity too with upto 3 Kilowatts.

External Profile Of Eicher Polaris MultiX​

The External Profile of the Eicher Polaris MultiX is easy on the eyes. The design looks good and the built quality is very much acceptable. The front profile might not be as attractive like an SUV but for the purpose it has been built, the MultiX looks good and clean. Coming to the side profile, for a vehicle of this segment, the side profile to me looks decent and attractive too. The Blacked out pillars and side cladding do give it a strong character. The rear profile is simple too without any unwanted cladding and chrome. All in all, the design and looks do complement the purpose for which this vehicle is built. Not everyone may have the resources to go for full-fledged lifestyle vehicles and pick up trucks for their day to day work so smaller and efficient alternatives like MultiX can be a viable choice.

Important External Features of Eicher Polaris MultiX​

The front profile is partly provided with Black Plastic of acceptable quality for the headlamp console and radiator grill.





The Headlamps are having normal bulbs and so do the indicator units.

Interiors of Eicher Polaris MultiX​

The interiors are simple and single tone. The quality of plastic used is average though but for the purpose the vehicle shall be used, the plastic can take abuse as well. Ergonomically the cabin has some shortfalls like the placement of handbrake, the bulge of the wheel-arcs in the front to name a few.

Some Important Interior Aspects of Eicher Polaris MultiX

The speedometer console with temperature gauge, fuel gauge along with headlamp beam adjuster and the regular indicators.

For Tall passengers, the seats lack under-thigh support. The legroom is average but the headroom is quite good.
